Competiflow billing is simple: one check is one page visit. This page explains what a check is, how cadence turns into monthly usage, and what each plan includes.

No separate metering for bandwidth, proxies, AI tokens, or CAPTCHA solving. A check costs one check whether or not the page changed.

What counts as a check
A check is one automated look at one monitored page to see whether it changed. Every successful check debits one check from your monthly allotment.
- Scheduled checks — each time a monitor runs on its cadence
- Manual refreshes — when you trigger a check from the dashboard or API
- Baseline checks — the first read that establishes a page's baseline
A check still costs one check when it detects no change. You're paying for the monitoring, not for changes. Failed checks (blocked pages, timeouts) are not billed.
Cadence & monthly checks
Your monthly usage is the number of monitored pages multiplied by how often each one runs:

Competitor pages change slowly, so daily is plenty for most teams. Example: 20 monitored pages on a daily cadence is about 20 × 30 = 600 checks per month.

Every plan includes a monthly pool of checks. Higher tiers add more monitors, faster cadences, and more capabilities.

Every check movement is logged. Export a CSV from Usage → Check ledger:

Refunds, top-ups, and overages
Failed checks are never billed. Competiflow-side bugs that caused a debit are reversed with a refund ledger entry.
If you use up monthly checks, monitors pause rather than charging overages. Email hello@competiflow.com for manual top-ups until self-serve top-ups launch.
FAQ
Do I pay extra for residential proxies or AI?
No. A check is one check regardless of what it took to read the page.
Do unused checks roll over?
No. Checks reset at the start of every billing period. The dashboard alerts at 50%, 80%, and 100% utilization.
How do I use fewer checks?
Slow cadence on stable pages (daily or weekly), and monitor only pages that matter.
